Washington, D.C. – October 20, 2022 – Rivulet Artisan Pecan Liqueur is pleased to announce that it has been renewed as a “Fair Trade Certified™” product by the Fair Trade USA™ organization, one of the global members of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO).  Fair trade products and services represent over 2 million farmers and over 2400 businesses worldwide, providing a path to sustainability and support for the farmers and their families.  The Fair trade certification process assures that brands and businesses are focused on fair incomes, workers’ rights, combating child labor, promoting gender equality, and improving climate resilience.  Fair trade products command better prices and higher loyalty than other products, thereby supporting a fair income and support for families worldwide.  Fair Trade Certified™ is an award-winning, rigorous, and globally recognized sustainable sourcing model that improves livelihoods, protects the environment, and builds resilient, transparent supply chains.
