Rivulet™ Artisan Pecan Liqueur Unveils Signature Drink “7th & Main”

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – June 20, 2014 – Rivulet Artisan Pecan Liqueur has just unveiled its signature drink called the “7th & Main.”  After recently introducing its highly decorated small-batch artisan liqueur into Kentucky, Rivulet partnered with a leading mixologist at the bar and restaurant Proof on Main, situated across the street from its headquarters at the corner of 7th and Main streets in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.  Kentucky has become one of America’s leading craft spirits markets and globally renowned for its bourbon distillation, barrel aging and heritage.

Rivulet teamed up with Proof’s noted local mixologist Christopher Wilkins to experiment and create a signature drink that builds on the uniqueness of Rivulet’s luxury liqueur profile.  As Proof and Rivulet are both located on Main Street, in the heart of Louisville’s historic “whiskey row,” Chris thought it appropriate to build a cocktail with Rivulet and a small-batch Kentucky Bourbon as the base.  Chris’s endeavor created the “7th & Main” cocktail.  Consisting of Rivulet Liqueur, Kentucky Bourbon, and Campari, served up with an orange peel garnish, the 7th& Main delivers intrigue and relaxation with a splendid and luxurious taste profile.

Recipe

  • 1.5 oz. Rivulet Liqueur
  • 1 oz. Woodford Reserve Bourbon
  • 1 oz. Campari
  • Place ingredients over ice in shaker glass, shake well.
  • Strain into Up glass.  Garnish with orange peel.
