San Francisco, California – April 2, 2014 – Rivulet Artisan Pecan Liqueur is pleased to announce its winning a double-gold medal award at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the top honor possible at the show! Rivulet was named “Best Nut Liqueur” in conjunction with the top award.
The San Francisco World Spirits Competition hosted its 14th annual competition on March 21-24 at the elegant Hotel Nikko in downtown San Francisco. Continuing its tradition of record-breaking entires annually, this years entries numbered 1474 entrants from 41 US states and 64 countries covering 89 classifications. Often a harbinger of trends in the marketplace, the competition is considered to be a rite of passage for top quality spirits, as it has 39 of the world’s top professional palates serving as judges for the competition.

Tony Abou-Ganim, aka the Modern Mixologist has directed the judging now for his 5th year says of the event,
