Rivulet™ Artisan Pecan Liqueur Receives Gold Medal at Denver International Spirits Competition
Denver, Colorado – March 5, 2014 – Rivulet Artisan Pecan Liqueur is pleased to announce that it received a prestigious Gold Medal at the Denver International Spirits Competition held the week of March 1st and 2nd in Denver, Colorado. The Denver International Spirits Competition, in its third year, is considered the premier competition in the Western United States, and one of the premier competitions in the world.

About the Judges
Fourteen spirit professionals including Tom Fischer founder of the Bourbon Blog, Dave Elger host of the Cooking Channel’s Hot Mixology, and Timothy Baldwin, Food & Beverage Director of The Little Nell Hotel, Aspen, tasted almost 200 spirits in this double-blind tasting.
About the Competition
The 2013 Denver International Spirits Competition was held at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield, Colorado on March 2nd and 3rd, 2014. Twelve prominent spirits professionals participated in this double-blind tasting. Nearly 200 top spirits brands were entered in 2014, more than double the amount from 2013. The Wine Country Network, Inc., producers of the highly respected Denver International Wine Competition and The Denver International Beer Competition, launched this spirits competition in 2012. This double-blind competition is based on the 100-point Parker scale and is judged by price categories.
