Video Archive and Playback
DVD recorders are sometimes used to capture a video record of surgeries, but the fragile disk becomes the only record of the events, and the video is highly compressed and, therefore, of often poor quality. Rivulet’s medical archive system saves medical-grade video that can be viewed on demand over the network, and edited frame-by-frame, unlike highly compressed systems. In addition, our system enables easy access to those archives anywhere on the hospital network. Medical-grade video has full image resolution with no artifacts or smearing typical of DVD and alternative technologies that utilize highly compressed video.
Rivulet leverages your existing IT infrastructure, enabling you to:
- Deliver saved medical-grade video images anywhere on your computer network
- Provide reach from the OR and pathology lab to the desktop giving you easy access to critical information and eliminating the need for costly cable installation.
- Clear full-image resolution not found on other systems.
- Frame-by-frame video application
